Hello, Alex!
On behalf of Tara and Todd, as well as ourselves, we want to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation. The weather was perfect and the sea and the islands were more beautiful than we had expected. In addition to the weather and the beauty, you and your staff at Olympic provided service that was extraordinary. When our flight was delayed, you adjusted the schedule, picking up the Auers first, and then picking us up at the airport. After a long delay, a long flight, and long wait for baggage, it was wonderful to see Peter in the airport and to enjoy the ride to the marina in the van, with Peter narrating the ride and stopping for us to do some shopping.
The Lepanto was more impressive than the pictures on the website and in the booklets showed. We were all very comfortable, both day and night, with plenty of places to sit, both for those who love the sea and those who prefer to sit and read.
One of the very best parts of the vacation was sharing the trip with Captain Leo. We were a bit nervous about meeting the Captain, and living with him for the week. Any nervousness vanished instantly when we met Leo. He was wonderful; certainly a very skilled captain, but also so much more. He quickly got to know us and the types of things we enjoy (the less crowded areas) and was always available to give us detailed directions about where to go. Dining with Leo was an excellent experience, with him guiding us to great restaurants and helping us to make choices. We think that Tara gave him new knowledge of vegan diets; we're not sure how soon he'll be able to use that!
In addition to all of the above, Leo always was able to remedy any situation, helping Todd with having mail delivered to an address in Greece, a slight camera repair and rinsing and drying a cell phone that went snorkeling!
The week went by all too quickly. Your service was outstanding all of the way, including our transfer back to the airport. Peter made sure everything went smoothly.
Your service, Alex, is of a high standard that we seldom have seen. As we were planning our trip, you were always accessible by phone or email to answer our questions. We have already recommended Olympic Yacht Charters to several people and will continue to do so. We hope to be contacting you in the future to charter in the Saronic Gulf (with Leo as captain, of course).
